The Pickens High School Dragons wrestling team traveled to Canton to take part in the Creekview Invitational. The Dragons took seven wrestlers, with four placing: Jesse Stevens, Trevor Dean, Dillon Champion, and Elliot Ghallager.Stevens was the lone Dragon to make a finals appearance, finishing second at 138 lbs. Ghallager earned a fifth place finish at the heavyweight division. Both Champion and Dean earned third place finishes at 152 and 138 respectively in the junior varsity tournament.
