Mrs. Gertrude Cowart Green, age 96 of Jasper, passed away at her residence on Monday March 24, 2014. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law; Jack Green, Joe & Barbara Green, daughter and son-in-law; Pat & Steve Hall, daughter-in-law; Carolyn Green, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband; J D Green and son; Gene Green.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6pm until 10:30pm and again on Wednesday from 8am till prior to the funeral hour.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Wednesday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Mize officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Marble Hill Baptist Church building fund or St. Judes Children Hospital or Ga. Baptist Childrens Home.
