Mr. Jay Godfrey age 85 of Talking Rock passed away Sunday April 6, 2014 at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
He is survived by his Dorothy Godfrey of Talking Rock, Grandchildren, James Keith, Jr and his wife, Sherry of Ellijay, Tammy & Brad Pendley, Ball Ground, Great-Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Keith, Ellijay, Kathryn Keith, Ellijay, Nicholas Knowles, Ball Ground, Gabby Knowles, Ball Ground, and Luke Pendley, Ball Ground, Sister, Frances McNalley, Rome.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Tuesday April 8, 2014 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. E.E. Taylor officiating. The interment will follow in the Hinton Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends from 5-9 PM on Monday at Roper Funeral Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home.
