Kenneth Marvin Burton, age 71 of Jasper, GA passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare in Jasper.

Kenneth was born January 8, 1944 in Pickens County.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years; Bonnie Burton, of Jasper, sons and daughters-in-law; Robert and Tina Burton, of Jasper, Ronald and Brenda Burton, of Jasper, sister and brother-in-law; Ruth and Terry Merrit, of Blairsville, brother; Johnny Burton, of Jasper, grandchildren; Jessica Burton, of Ohio, Justin Burton, of Jasper, Rebekah Dancey, of Jasper, Lillie Burton, of Jasper, several other family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Truman and Geneva Burton, and brother; Charles Burton.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Unity Christian Church in Ludville with Rev. Glenn Sims and Rev. Ben Mock officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00pm to 9:00pm and on Sunday from 9:00am to 1:30pm.
