The Pickens County Chamber of Commerce was excited to celebrate a ribbon cutting ceremony with Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center held at their new location at the Dr. Joseph A. Wilber Building on April 27th at 3:30 pm.Good Samaritan has moved into their new home. Named for one of the three founding doctors at Good Samaritan, The Joseph A. Wilber Building was opened for patients and volunteers on Monday, March 16th. By the time the Clinic closed the previous Friday, boxes had been packed and furniture labeled. On Monday morning, expressing their thanks for those who had worked through the weekend, volunteers in several departments moved into their new rooms. Pharmacy, PDAP, Social Services, Counseling, Lab, Vision and IT are now working out of the Wilber Building, which will also house the ultra sound and cardiac stress equipment.
