Mr. Philip Floyd, age 78 of Jasper, passed away at Pruiitt Health Care on Wednesday August 12, 2015.
He is survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Jeff & Lesley Floyd of Jasper, Stephen & Eilene Floyd of Asheville, N. Carolina, grandchildren: Katlin & Erin Floyd and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday August 14th from 5pm until 8pm and again on Saturday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Saturday at Jasper First Baptist Church. Mr. Floyd will lie in state at the church from 10am until 11am.  Rev. Greg Pope will be officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will accept flowers but prefer donations to Jasper First Baptist Church.
