Dynasties, Casual Observations

Opinion

Opinion by George McClellan:

What the corps. of our elite, national GOP career politicians don’t realize, or if they do, ignore, is the fact that the potent Tea Party “conservative” voter base out here simply do not want another Bush in the White House, or another moderate at all. Hence, Trump’s rise.

A third Bush as president, from the same litter as the second, both sired by a first Bush as president, certainly signals the rise of a dynastic family if not the actual attempt at the creation of a political empire. We see all kinds of little Bush’s lurking in the background, growing in confidence, polished educationally and being trained in the tenants of compassionate conservatism. Some even bring with them the blood of Mexico coursing through their veins, all prepared to keep the Bush flame alive. We’ll see. By the way, the Kennedy’s, like the Roosevelt’s before them, as Dynasty’s, are gone except for what history say’s of them.

The rising Bush’s however, dynasty or no, are always compared to the oncoming hopes of a Clinton dynasty. I believe the idea of a Clinton family dynasty will die aborning. Hillary is seeing to that. Why? Because the Clinton’s are unethical and can’t hide it. They are wanna-be’s but are sloppy in their attempt, like a child on a tricycle in a crystal shop. There are other major difference between these two singular attempts at creating Proto-American Dynasties.

First, the Clinton’s are indisputably, undeniably, completely, by definition, “rednecks” of the first order. As people, they are simply awful!  Hillary’s vocabulary of swear words, apparently used daily toward her staff including her assigned USSS detail, find no peer. Her off the record list of foul explicitivies are well documented and bear no further discussion here. Too, the list of Bill’s menagerie of trailer park women who fell under his spell, adds to their redneck luster along with his ideas of fix’n up his pick-up truck with astro-turf to alleviate any distress to his knees.

On the other hand, the Bush’s have demonstrably revealed to us, especially in their retirement, that their humanity and grace, as revealed when they greet our returning warriors at airports, visiting them in hospitals and holding a massive, annual BBQ and sports event at G.W.’s Texas Ranch is beyond reproach and worthy of emulation. George W.’s father, George H.W., was a US naval fighter/bomber pilot in WWII, engaged in combat against the Japanese and survived being shot out of the sky over Iwo Jima. He even got a ride in a submarine. How cool is that?

George W., while never in combat, was a USAF Reserve fighter pilot so at least he put himself  on offer. Jeb, for whatever reason, apparently never stepped forward to wear Uncle Sam’s uniform. Neither did Bill Clinton or our current disappointment, alleged president Obama. No dynasty there either. All previous historic American dynasties were based on making money but all contributed to America’s greatness.  J.J. Astor’s skills at building a financial empire in the fur trade of the 1700’s lasted for several generations. Andrew Carnegie’s did not. The Roosevelt’s were long lasting as were the Huntington’s, Hearst’s, Vanderbilt’s & etc.

The tawdry Clinton’s however, leave us gasping in confusion. We stand back in amazement as the words we hear falling from their lips leave us breathless, wondering if a lightening bolt from the sky should strike them dead and include us in the carnage. Knowing deep in our souls that they cannot be trustworthy servants to the American cause, but are rather, money grubbing perverts, in language and deed, we can only wonder and fear for the future of our once great country if the Clinton Dynasty idea should be inadvertently advanced for four, possibly eight more years. Sad, very sad indeed. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution (not the Clinton’s) is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (24 August 2015)
