Mrs. Barbara Argueta, age 68 of Murray County, formerly of Pickens County, passed away at Gordon County Hospital on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, James Parker, Murray Co. and Keith & Tammy Parker, Murray Co.; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & William Simmons, Dalton; brothers, Billy Parker, Mark Parker, Johnny Parker, all of Jasper; sisters, Gene Parker, Marsha Jones, Tammy Parker, all of Jasper, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Fannie Parker; brother, Lee Parker and sister, Joby Colley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 9 at 1 pm to 10:00 pm. Thursday from 8 am up to the time of the funeral which will be at 2 pm at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Tony Long and Kenny Green officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
