Willa Jean Newman, 88 of Jasper, GA entered into eternal peace October 4, 2015.  Jean was born August 30, 1927, the youngest daughter of Archie and Ina Presnell in Farmington, MO.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilbur Newman and their three children, Pamela Mengert and Brad and Bruce Newman; 8 grandchildren, Christina, Lauren, Brenna, Eric, Matt, Adam, Daniel and Austin; and four great grandchildren, Elijah, Hanna, Reagan and Maddox.

She will be deeply missed as she brought joy, humor, love and an amazing spirit to those she loved.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, October 7 at Cagle Funeral Home in Jasper, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 8 at Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Jasper, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
