Mrs. Faye Godfrey, age 78 of Talking Rock, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital on Sunday November 1, 2015.

She is survived by her sons: Larry Godfrey of Talking Rock, Jamie Godfrey of Talking Rock, daughters and sons-in-law: Glennis Ray of Talking Rock, Sherry Gibson of Talking Rock, Mary & Terry Wilson of Jasper, Vickie & James Waters of Ellijay, brothers: Robert Matthews of Canton, Phillip Matthews of Talking Rock, sister: Ellen Matthews of Talking Rock, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 3pm till 10pm, Tuesday from 8am till 10pm and again on Wednesday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm on Wednesday at Town Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
