Faith Dement

The band student of the week is Faith Dement.  Faith is a Sophomore band  member in the trumpet section.  She is very hard  worker, evidenced by her  practicing all the time, and also taking Music Theory  AP in tenth grade.  Faith  is always one of the first to volunteer when help is  needed, no matter what the  task is that needs to be done.  Her personality  draws people to her and Faith  always wants to help others.  We are proud to  have Faith in the band family!

HOSA FLC Atlanta, GA Nov. 2-3, 2015

Ciara Biggins speech that she wrote for FLC competition is as follows;
HOSA is not simply described as a healthcare club. Members of HOSA innovate. Quality members create changes in communities that make many smile. We inspire others to lend a hand and help others in need. More importantly, we ignite. HOSA starts small, helping one individual at a time. Then, we grow big! We begin helping groups and corporations. Next we move to communities. Soon enough, HOSA will be helping the state. It is a challenge to describe HOSA in such a short amount of time, but for a HOSA member anything is possible!
