Mr. Milton “Mack” Cochran: Obituary
Obituaries December 5, 2015
Milton “Mack” Cochran, suddenly passed away on December 5, 2015 at the age of 73.
A great-great man no longer walks on this planet, he now walks with God. His passion was golf, friends, family, and God. His handicap had recently slipped to 7, but he was working on bringing it back to scratch. Everyone loved playing golf with Dad: he had a special way of developing deep personal friendships wherever he went and Bent Tree Country Club in Jasper, GA was his favorite place and where he and our Mom have lived for the past 10 years among many close friends. He loved his family and friends He always had a smile and kind word. He was always willing to sacrifice for his friends and family. Each of us in his family, as well as countless others, have been blessed by his selfless attitude. The rock of his life was his marriage of over 52 years to our Mom, Linda Cochran, who has survived him. Their marriage was just as strong after 52 years as it was on the very first day. His loving blessed children: Karen, Gary, Mickey, and their families. He lived a happy life that shined on everyone especially his 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His gentle loving spirit will live-on through everyone he has touched.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, December 7, 2015 at Jasper United Methodist Church, with Rev. Greg Meadows officiating.
