Rebecca “Jeannie” Carey Jamieson, age 49 of Jasper, GA lost her battle with breast cancer on December 14, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, William Mark Jamieson of Jasper; parents, Robert & Joyce Carey, also of Jasper; paternal grandmother, Nancy Carey of Danville, KY; brother, Paul D Carey, New York; brother-in-law, Juan Carlos Fernandez, also of New York; nieces, Olivia and Lauren Jamieson of Virginia; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She attended Jasper United Methodist Church and was employed by CDK Global (formerly ADP Dealer Services). She sang and played music, enjoyed painting, ceramics, making jewelry and crocheting. She was an avid Barbie collector and loved her pets. She was active in helping raise money for cancer research through the Relay for Life of North Fulton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 pm at the Jasper United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life or Caring Bridge.
