Young Professionals of Pickens County January Meeting

Pickens County Chamber

By: Lexi Hardman

The Young Professionals of Pickens County, a program of the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce, hosted their first event of 2016 on January 21 at Sharp Mountain Vineyards. With over 21 attendees, young professionals spent the evening networking, enjoying the beautiful venue, and discussing the future of this great up and coming program. The Leadership Team would like to thank our wonderful sponsors, Kyle Waters Auction Company and Element Funding, for their support. In addition, thank you to Sharp Mountain Vineyards for hosting this lovely group for the evening.

Young Professionals of Pickens County was established to create a forum for business professionals to support one another in all aspects of their busy lives. Through monthly meetings, young professionals will have an opportunity to network with other young professionals and hear from leaders in our community on topics that will influence them within the workplace.

Join us February 25, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, as we begin our two-part series, Millennials: A New Generation of Employees. We will enjoy a delicious lunch at The Woodbridge Inn and Calvin Byrd will speak on Millennials finding their place in the workforce. This event is open to all of Pickens County and the surrounding area. Therefore, bring your friends and co-workers!
