Mr. Ernest Calvin Collett, age 65 of Jasper passed away March 4, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Collett, Jasper; step-sons, Doug Worsham, Jasper and Andy Blair, Blairsville; step-daughter and husband, Mechelle and Lamar Logan, Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Carol Collett, Jasper, Coy and Gracie Collett, Tate and Clayton and Edna Collett, West Palm Beach, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Frances Collett, Augusta, Louise and Charles Horton, Lilburn and Doris and Lamar Childers, Jasper. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Monnie Lee Collett; sister, Christine Yarborough and brothers, Harrison, Herbert and Buck Collett.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 8 at 1:00pm to 10pm and Wednesday at 8:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Horton officiating.

The family will accept flowers but prefer donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
