Infant Baylee Jean Marie Velez of Jasper, born on January 28, 2016, passed away Saturday March 12, 2016 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

She is survived by her parents Danielle and Haley Jean Velez of Jasper; brothers: Zander Steffy of Jasper and Colton Steffy of Jasper; grandparents: Willie & Brenda Nelson of Jasper, Teresa Carman of Albany, Donald Velez, and Hiram Abernathy; uncles: Brandon Howard of Jasper and Anthony Phillips of Albany; and aunts Jenna James of Cartersville and Rachel Masters of Augusta; great grandparents Jean Abernathy of Alpharetta and Leroy Simonds of Jasper.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3pm until 9pm and on Wednesday from 8am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Trowell officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with expenses.
