Mr. Roy H. Owenby Sr., age 78 of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Jasper.

Mr. Owenby is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Hal and Paula Owenby of Jasper; brother: James Owenby of Acworth; 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to donate to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

No memorial service has been scheduled at this time.
