Mr. Bryan Clay Emory, age 87, of Talking Rock, passed away early Tuesday morning at Grandview Healthcare in Jasper.  He was born in Jasper, October 8, 1928 to Roy and Betty Emory.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Emory was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Parker Emory.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Law and Terry Jenkins of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Darlene Emory of Jasper; grandchildren, Jason Weldy, Chris Weldy, Chad Emory, Chase Emory, Dillon Emory; great-grandchildren, Hunter Weldy, Kaitlyn Emory, and Sanoah Weldy; brother, Jack Emory of Talking Rock; and sister Dorothy Townsend of Talking Rock.

The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Townsend officiating. Interment will follow at Talking Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and until the funeral hour on Thursday.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, GA.
