Sandra Gay Morrison, age 66, of the Hinton Community, passed away Thursday, July 07, 2016 at her home.  She was born August 26, 1949 to William and Sue Brendel in Monroe, Georgia.

She is survived by sons, Joey Vansant of Hinton and Jacob Vansant of Hinton; brother and sister-in-law, Butch and Marsha Brendel of Hinton; grandchildren, Taylor Vansant, Landon Vansant, Leah Vansant, Joseph Vansant; niece and nephew, Stephanie and Mark Owens.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Owens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
