McBertha Lou Padgett, age 65, of Ball Ground, passed away July 14, 2016 at her home.  She was born February 2, 1951 to Joe and Rachel Avoy Holloway in Tate.

She is survived by daughters, Melissa Holland (Richard) of Atlanta, Meredith Padgett of Yellow Creek; grandson, Trenton Wilson of Tate; great-grandson, Aiden Wilson; brother, Leonard Holloway of Powder Springs; sister, Martha Harvell of Athens.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Padgett was preceded in death by grandson, Travis Wilson; brothers, Wilburn Holloway and Arnold Holloway; and sister, Clora Mae “Sis” Walker.

A service is not planned at this time.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
