Mrs. Janet Ozell Turner Wofford, age 91, of Jasper passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at her home.  Mrs. Wofford was born March 30, 1925 to George Washington and Lenora Padgett Turner in Dawson County.

She is survived by husband, Paul Wofford of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Terrie Wofford of Ellijay, Randall and Sharon Wofford of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Stan Worley of Dawsonville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Frady, Reverend Harold Cantrell and Reverend Johnny McPherson officiating.  Interment will follow at Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
