Mrs. Hazel Buchanan Castleberry, age 84, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday September 3, 2016 at the Brian Center in Canton.  Mrs. Castleberry was born on May 19, 1932 to the late Cale and Bertha Roper Heath.

Mrs. Castleberry is survived by her children,  Daughter, Diane Buchanan of Marble Hill, Georgia; Sons and Daughters-In-Law, Ed and Margaret Buchanan of Jasper, Georgia; Fred and Tonya Buchanan of Tate, Georgia; John and Stephany Castleberry of Marble Hill, Georgia; and Son, Ronnie Ray of Jasper, Georgia;  Brothers, J.M. and Dorothy Heath of Marble Hill, Billy and Carolyn Heath of Marble Hill, and Sister Tina Liedherr of Acworth, Georgia. 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren, and 1 Great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her Son, Ted Buchanan.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday September 6, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Jerry Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at The Four Mile Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
