Ronald Douglas Andrews, age 77, of Ellijay passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home.  He was born October 22, 1939 to Howard Douglas and Mary Grace Andrews in Ball Ground, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Andrews of Ellijay; children, Gracie and William McDowell of Ellijay, Steven and Arlecie Andrews of Talking Rock, Lori Byess of Canton and fiancé, Tommy Richardson of Tennessee, Jackie and Stacy Andrews of Ball Ground, Rebecca and Greg Collis of Talking Rock; sisters, Susan Andrews of Lithonia, Linda Freeman of Winchester, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Katie Andrews; and sisters, Sister Andrews and Mary Kathern Binkley.

The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
