Mr. William Simmons, age 53 of Dalton, formerly of Pickens County, passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife: Sandra Simmons of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law: Anthony and Lesley Simmons of Chatsworth, Bruce and Melinda Simmons of Chatsworth, and David and Donna Simmons of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Jeff Waldrop of Athens, GA; brother: Tony Simmons of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law: Barbara and Kenny Gaddis of Canton, Becky and Randy Chumley of Jasper, and Donna Breedlove of Savannah; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Saturday January 14, 2017 at 5:00pm and continue on Sunday and on Monday until the funeral hour. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Monday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
