Patricia Ann Compton, age 77 of Acworth, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her home. She was born February 23, 1939 to Lorina Bessie and Charles Carpenter in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband: Oren Compton of Acworth, Georgia; children: Oren Edward Compton, Jr. (Sandra) of Dallas,Texas; Lisa Kizer (Byron) of Woodstock, Georgia; Maria O’Connell (Kevin) of Canton, Georgia; Sue Doctor (David) of Dunwoody, Georgia; grandchildren: Tyler Kizer of Woodstock, Troy Kizer of Woodstock, Olivia O’Connell of Canton, Blake O’Connell of Canton, Jordan Battersby of Dunwoody, Cosette Doctor of Dunwoody, Caroline Doctor of Dunwoody, Cornelius Doctor of Dunwoody; puppies, Bella, Annie, Maggie Mae, Honey, and Traveler.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Our Lady of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church with Father Charles Byrd officiating. Inurnment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
