Jacqueline K. Rice, age 84 of Ellijay, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. She was born February 26, 1932 to Ozie and Lucy Kitchens in Macon, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Rice of Ellijay; daughters, Cheryl Meadows of Arizonia, Brenda Folsom of Ellijay; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Rice will then be cremated.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
