Mr. Jeff Howard “Ned” Trippe, age 76 of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home. He was born June 7, 1940 to John Washington and Tamer Trippe in Pickens County.

Ned is survived by his wife, Ruth Trippe of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Calvin Watts of Fairmount; sons and daughter-in-law, Greg Trippe of Jasper, Billy and Kelley Trippe of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Robyn Bates, Marilyn Trippe, Jake Trippe, and Lillian Trippe. Several other relatives and friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Lake Forest Memorial Park with Billy Trippe and Jake Trippe officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pickens County Animal Shelter.
