Mrs. Ruth Hobbs Satterfield age 92 of Marble Hill, Georgia passed away Monday July 3, 2017 at the Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was a member of the Long Swamp Baptist Church and Marble Hill Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Hubert Runt Satterfield, Sons; Larry & Eddie Satterfield, Son-in-law; Stanley Stone, and Daughter-in-law; Wanda Satterfield.

She is survived by her Children; Barbara & Frank Pendley, Donna & Tom Evans, and Lisa Stone, Grandchildren; John Pendley, Sallie & Allen Bozeman, Jason and Darla Satterfield, James & Deana Satterfield, Kevin Stone & Candace Henson, Great Grandchildren; Addison, Gracie, Braelynn Stone, Erin & Alex Bozeman, Hunter, Emma, Grant, and Peyton Satterfield, Sisters and Brother-in-law; Joyce & Charles Hammontree, Edna Wilson, Brother, Benjamin and Fannie Hobbs, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Thursday at the Long Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Bottoms, Rev. Harold Cantrell, and Rev. Richie Gibbs officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
