CROSSFEST to be New “Christian Festival” for North Georgia: Featuring Family- Friendly Fun, Live Music, Activity Stations for Children and Youth! A Brand New FESTIVAL is being launched in North Georgia this coming Saturday, July 22nd in Lee Newton Park in Jasper. The event starts at 2:00 pm and will continue till Dark. It will feature 6 Live Bands, various Christian Drama Groups, Local Art, and loads of fun for children and Youth. Event organizers are preparing for a large crowd for this Free Admission event. Free meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Special Guests, Encounter Ministries with Kevin Rains will be ministering  during the evening hours, and local favorites, Dirt Road Disciples, The Elijah Project, and Rock of Christ Band, will also be in the schedule.

“CROSSFEST” has come about as a sort of revival of a concept that started with the “Crossover” concert series. These events, featuring multiple live bands, drama teams, dance, inspiring testimonies, and activities for the kids, were held all over north Georgia for about 5 years beginning in 2009. When the "CROSSOVER" series came to an end, many people wanted to move into something that would encompass a broader section of the Church and the Community. After several years of prayer and planning, CROSSFEST has been born out of a desire to bring Believers together to demonstrate the lavish LOVE of God to the North Georgia area.

“CROSSFEST” is set to be the one of the finest, Family Friendly events of the year. It is completely FREE OF CHARGE and will provide local families with a fun-filled day of activities.As North Georgia’s only Christian Festival, CROSSFEST is being planned with lots of great Christian Music, games, a water slide, bounce house, and various fun-filled stations for children. The Stage at Lee Newton Park will also have Dance and Drama groups, an opportunity for  young, budding musicians, and door prizes from Local Merchants.

Multiple stations will be providing FREE FOOD in the Park and various Local Churches will set up in the park with a show of Love to the community. Many of our local Churches, Ministries, and Benevolent organizations will have booths in the Park to share their information about local ministries and services around the community. It will be a special time for Christians from all groups and denominations to work together and demonstrate their valuable contributions to community life.

CROSSFEST will be held on Saturday, July 22nd from 2:00 pm until Dark and will have SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!
