Junior Fountain, age 75, of Ludville passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his home. He was born June 19, 1942 to Alfred and Bernice Duncan Fountain in Calhoun, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Fountain of Ludville; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Brian Perry of Ludville, Tonya and Adam McReynolds of Fairmount; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Gail Fountain of Ludville; daughter-in-law, Cindy Fountain of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Brittany Anderson, Whitney Moss, Ethan Perry, Cody Perry, Cassidy McReynolds, Colton McReynolds, Shelby Fountain, Hailey Fountain, Hannah Fountain; great-grandchildren, Mia Moss, Emma July Anderson; brother, Ronnie Fountain of Jasper; sister, Linda Townsend of Jasper; half-brothers, Donnie Fountain of Jerusalem Community, Lonnie Fountain of Ludville; half-sisters, Kathy Tilley of Talking Rock, and Vickie Chastain of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by son, Terry Fountain; mother, Bernice Duncan Fountain; father, Alfred Fountain; and brother, Jerry Fountain.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Timms and Reverend Bill Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Black Knob Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
