Ms. Jacquelyn Warren Troup, age 87 of Jasper, passed away Friday September 1, 2017 at Grandview Healthcare in Jasper.

Ms. Troup was preceded in death by her husband Bill Troup. Ms. Troup taught GED classes at Pickens Tech Resource Center and Pickens County Adult Detention Center for 15 years. She worked for the Pickens County Library for 10 years and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Ms. Troup is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Joe & Terri Troup of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Debbie & Mark Hinton of Jasper; grandchildren: Laura, Jennifer, Jamie, and Gracie; great-grandchildren: Evan, Ella, and Emma.

Visitation will begin on Friday September 1, 2017 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday September 2, 2017 at Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Irwinwille, GA with Pete Jones officiating. Interment at Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
