Mrs. Teresa Arlene Buchanan, age 44, of Ball Ground, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born June 2, 1972 in Canton, Georgia.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Michael Buchanan of Ball Ground; son Ferril Frankie Sturgeon of Ball Ground; daughter, Anna Marie Parson of Jasper; parents, Ora Lee and William Ryder of Jasper; mother-in-law, Wanda Wigington of Jasper; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Barbara Buchanan of Jasper; step-son, Isaac Buchanan of Resaca. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Free and late husband, Loren F. Parson.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Arbor Hill Baptist Church with Reverend James Thompson, Reverend Charlie Buchanan, Reverend Franklin King, and Reverend Mike Byess officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
