Mrs. Velma Blackwell, age 83 of Jasper passed away Saturday November 4, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her husband: Jack Blackwell of Jasper, Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Jackie & Denise Blackwell, Ronnie & Jean Blackwell, Jimmy & Barbara Blackwell and Danny Blackwell all of Jasper. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Barbara & Thomas Watson of Jasper. Brother: Wilburn Prince of Jasper. Grandchildren: Callie & Bryan Smith, Judd Blackwell, Amanda Carver, Brooke Blackwell Wright, Michael & Lauren Bail, Josh & Erin Bail, Jessica & Jason Byess, Michelle & Adam Godfrey, Mikey & Tiffany Watson, Brandy McClure, Carly and Conner Culverhouse. 25 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great Great-Grandchild

Velma is preceded in death by her Brother: James Prince, 3 Grandchildren: Jamie Blackwell, Cami Jo Blackwell and Chad Blackwell.

Visitation will be held Monday November 6, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, Tuesday November 7, 8:00am until 9:00pm and Wednesday November 8, 8:00am until the funeral hour.

Services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday November 8, 2017 in the Cagle funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. R. Smith officiating

Interment will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral service

Pallbearers: Bryan Smith, Michael Bail, Josh Bail, Judd Blackwell, Jason Byess, Adam Godfrey and Mikey Watson.
