An early morning accident at the intersection of Walmart and Hwy 515 caused all lanes to be shut down for several hours on Thursday.  The 2 vehicle accident that included a flatbed semi and a delivery truck from the local Pepsi Company.  The driver of the flatbed was transported to Piedmont Mountainside for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

The Georgia State Patrol worked the accident with cooperation from local police, fire, and EMS.  No details were released at the scene as the accident is currently under investigation.  Further updates will be posted as soon as they are available.
