Dawsonville, Ga — The Pickens Dragonettes, have had an interesting week to say the least. On Tuesday, they traveled to Rossville to take on the Ridgeland Lady Panthers in 7-AAAA action. The Nettes, set a school record for three point makes in a game on route to a 92-23 win. On Friday, the Nettes were set to travel to Tunnel Hill to take on the Lady Bruins of Northwest Whitfield, but the game had to be postponed due to covid issues. In the first quarter, both offenses found scoring early as the three pointers were flying early and often. The Nettes also found success scoring inside as well. After a back and forth first period, the Lady Tigers took a 19-16 lead into the second.
