Five Arrested in Multi-Agency Drug Operation in Pickens County

PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. — A coordinated investigation by the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (CMANS) and the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office led to multiple arrests this week in connection with ongoing drug cases, authorities announced.
Agents executed several search warrants during the operation, resulting in the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of more than four ounces of methamphetamine, along with smaller quantities of fentanyl, Xanax, and over three ounces of marijuana.
The following individuals were arrested:
- Charles Reeves — Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Dan Antwine — Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Possession of Various Illegal Drugs
- Larry Chance — Possession of Methamphetamine
- Dusty Sewell — Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Brooklyn Sewell — Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said the operation was part of an ongoing effort to disrupt drug trafficking and remove illegal weapons from the community.
“These arrests are part of our continued joint efforts with CMANS to disrupt drug trafficking and hold offenders accountable,” the agency stated in a release.
