Mrs. Sandra Diane Johnson, age 59, of Jasper, Georgia, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at her residence, following a period of declining health, with her
family by her side.

Born July 25, 1952, she was a native and lifetime resident of Pickens County. She and her husband were in the poultry farming business.

Survivors include, HER HUSBAND, Clayton Johnson, of Jasper, Ga.; DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW, Lorie and Roger Childers, of Jasper, Ga.; SON, Cole Johnson, of Jasper, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Mary Jo Childers and Lane Childers, both of Jasper, Ga.; PARENTS, Inez and Jim Hawkins, of Centre, Ala.; & Norman Kirk and Bonnie Mulkey, of Jasper, Ga.; BROTHER, Mike Kirk, of Jasper, Ga.; NEPHEW, Dwayne Kirk; Other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Jeff Garland will officiate, with the interment to follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home after 11:00 a.m. on Friday until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday until prior to the Funeral Hour.
