The Pickens High School Dragonettes varsity volleyball, led by head coach, Ben Banard, traveled to Tennessee to take on the Lady Cougars of Copper Basin in a battle of GA vs Tenn. The Nettes would take this one in straight sets.
The win last night brought the Nettes record to 2-9 overall. The girls are working to learn new offensive and defensive systems as they prepare for 7AAAA region action which for the Nettes, begins on September 9th. The Varsity team will next be in action back home in the Dragons Den on September 4th as they host the Lady Warriors of Cherokee High School.
