Mr. Bill Norton, age 85, of Tate passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at his home. He was born March 31, 1930 in Marble Hill, Georgia to Homer and O’Dell Hudgens Norton.

Mr. Norton is survived by his wife, Betty Norton of Tate; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Elisea Norton of Tate; grandson, Ian Norton of Tate; great grandchildren, Taylor Norton of Tate and Jaden Norton of Tate.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Free Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Larry Holden and Reverend Alfred Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday evening at Roper Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Free Hope Baptist Church.
