The Pickens High School Dragons held the annual end of the year banquet to honor the seniors and the wrestlers. The Dragons lose only two seniors, Jesse Stevens and Aaron Caanady. Stevens was named Captain.The team was treated to a highlight video, courtesy of the PHS Takedown Club, (video can viewed below) before the Dragons’ coaching staff lead by head coach, Adrian Antonini, awarded acknowledgments.

The Dragons managed one lone participant in the State Traditional Tournament, freshman Koby Milner, due to a plethora of Pickens injuries.

Milner scored a first round State Tournament pin before a loss in the quarterfinals sent him to wrestle backs. Milner came one win short of placing, after a loss in the consolation quarters.

After the banquet Antonini, was already encouraging the Dragons to participate in offseason tournaments to achieve more success and build the program.
