Keeping The Faith: The Joy House Turns 10

Community

Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, the Joy House is celebrating 10 years of restoring teens and their families. The Joy House began in 2001 on the southend of Jasper and is now currently living debt-free on 30 acres off Cove Rd. A new boy’s residence is now under construction and will be completed just as soon as the non-profit is able to raise $52,000 to pay for the last stretch of the construction. The anniversary celebration began with live music. Guests were treated with a hayride tour of the property. Cornerstone Church Youth Drama Group shared several skits. Everyone had the chance to play carnival games and win prizes.

Since its starting days, the Joy House has partnered with many teens and families to see Christ’s hope and healing. The vision still remains the same by continuing the expansion of the ministry … opening doors and hearts to help heal hurting teens and families.
