Mrs. Nancy Regina Cantrell, age 53, of Talking Rock passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper. Regina was born February 1, 1962 to Howard and Imogene Bowers in Cumming, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Cantrell of Talking Rock; mother, Imogene Bowers of Jasper; children, Patricia Bryant of Jasper, Charles and Amanda Cantrell of Talking Rock, Angel Cantrell of Talking Rock, Justin and Becky Cantrell of Jasper; sisters, Benda Castleberry of Jasper, Pam Padgett of Jasper; and nine grandchildren. Other family members also survive.

Regina was preceded in death by her father, Howard Bowers and sister, Kathy Howard.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26. Interment will follow at Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

The family will accept flowers.
