Armed Robbery at Verizon in Pickens

After many in the public asked about the incidnet involving an armed robbery at the Verizon store in Pickens County, the Pickens Sheriff’s Office released the following information to the public via its Facebook page.
The Jasper Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred this afternoon at the Verizon store off of Old Philadelphia Rd.
Suspects were located at Fred’s dollar store and taken into custody. Four black males have been placed under arrest.
Our deputies and the Georgia State Patrol are assisting in the investigation. Deputies were able to locate the stolen vehicle used in the robbery off of Jonah Lane.
This is a case that the Jasper Police Department is working so they will be the contact for any additional details…our guys are simply assisting.
