FetchYourNews.com has confirmed with authorities an accident which occurred earlier Tuesday evening, January 17th has resulted in a fatality.

According to Captain Kris Stancil with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are currently assisting the Georgia State Patrol and emergency crews on a pedestrian accident involving a fatality in the area of Big Ridge Road.
