Charles Herbert Roland, age 83, of Jasper passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home. Herbert was born July 20, 1935 in Tate, Georgia to Paul and Johnnie Roland.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Roland; daughter, Jenna Roland; son, Jeff Peardon; daughters and sons-in-law, Cay and Gary Reece, Cathy and Tom Vandiver, Carol and Randy Smith, Chris Clancy; son, Charles Roland; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Nancy Roland; sisters-in-law, Ruth Roland and Pat Roland; 15 grandchildren. Several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Edwin Weaver and Reverend Kenneth Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Monday, July 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
