Mrs. Mary Jo Childers, age 79 of Jasper passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Childers is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-Law: Steve & Wanda Childers of Newnan. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Darlene & Johnny Emory of Jasper. Daughter: Angie Higdon of Jasper. Brother: Don Bolding of Gordon County. Sister and Brother-in-Law: Belle and Delmer McDaniel of Jasper. Sister: Deborah Ingram of Gordon County. Seven Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation will begin Monday, July 23 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Thompson and Rev. Travis Childers officiating.

Pallbears: Chuck Childers, Jason Cagle, Dylan Emory, Logan Prater, Rick Chaffin, David Lawson. Honorary Pallbears: Jamie Haynes, Tony Bryant.

Interment will be at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
