Cumming, GA- The Wesleyan Wolves were the thorn in the Nettes side in the Region 7AAA tournament last week, as Wesleyan defeated Pickens twice in the tournament to take the Region Crown.

Two big wins over White County helped the Nettes force a rematch with Wesleyan in the championship game after falling to the Wolves earlier in the Tournament, but the Nettes came up short once again.

Hannah Grizzle came up huge for the Nettes in the final four games of the tournament, driving in 7 runs on 7 hits and helping lead her team to the championship game.

Pickens will kick off the Super Regional Tournament in Chickamauga on Thursday vs Hebron Christian.
