Mr. Bernard Steed, age 88 of Jasper, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence.Visitation was held Thursday, December 1st from 1 until 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services were held Friday, December 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph M. and Rita K. Steed of Greenville, Delaware; granddaughter and husband, Jennifer and Michael J. Hunter of Atlanta; great-grandsons: Daniel and Benjamin J. Hunter.

The family will accept flowers however they would prefer that Memorials be made to: Our Lady of Victory Home Charity, 780 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218-1682 or Pickens Animal Shelter, PO Box 45, Jasper, GA 30143.
