The Pickens High School Dragons football team traveled on the road to Ringgold, riding a three game losing streak into the home of the Heritage Generals. Despite Pickens possessing a 21-0 first quarter lead, to the Generals went the spoils, as Heritage was victorious 49-35.

The Pickens High School Dragons junior varsity football team fell to the Phoenix of Sonoraville 30-19. Pickens was done in by three first half turnovers, which Sonoraville was able to use en route to building a 24-13 halftime lead; a deficit the Dragons could not climb out of.
