Pickens County experienced a storm that did severe damage to several buildings. No injuries were reported. According to Corporal William Lingerfelt of the Pickens County Sheriff’s Department, who supervised an inmate clean up crew on Jackson Street in Jasper, the heaviest concentration of damage was in the North end of Jasper.
